When asked whether or not a genre can be a graphic t-shirt, Mat said that it would have to be a graphic t shirt and have a proposal or it would need to be a t shirt being worn. The reason why is because it’s difficult to grade just a graphic t shirt and is kind of basic. 

For our rationale it is important to state a pressing issue, and why the genre is the best and worst to present the message. We then took three minutes to write down our topic and why a t-shirt would be the best and worst way to convince someone of the issue. Tad then discussed why actuarial science would be good and bad to convince his audience. One of the problems he runs into is clarity. Maybe if the t shirt had a website then it would be more clear.

Then Jason talked about that his issue of Justice Reform is difficult to convey on a t shirt because it is a very complex competition.

Lilian then brought out her Birds Aren’t Real Shirt and we discussed bandwagon effects with conspiracies.

Bryce then discussed an artist statement and said its the purpose an artist haves to create material. Artist is an important term to create a more specific group of people.

Bryce discussed his topic related to the corona virus vaccine and wanted his genres to be a blog post about healthcare workers and then a flier for college students and then a twitter page also more geared towards college students. Bryce is trying to inform these people if the ethics are good or bad. Mat says that it is a nonissue. Bryce says bioethics is important because even in science there should be a sense of right and wrong.

Hunter’s statement is about changing engineering practice to become more environment sustainable. Hunter cares about the environment because he grew up with national parks and he said that he wants his kids to grow up with nature.

The first draft due tonight on November 10 can be just an explanation of what is going on in your project and a rationale. 

The rationale in order to do well should be more than 1500 words.
